FlUXUS! Let Life Be More Interesting than Art

Series 4: Fluxbook - Deconstructing the Book and the Invention of the Artist's Books

2026.1.24 (Sat) 14:00-15:30

This talk is all about Fluxus, a groundbreaking art movement. We'll look at how Fluxus artists created revolutionary "artist books" using books, booklets, boxes, vinyl records, and other formats.

The workshop will explore how these works challenged the idea of "one-of-a-kind" original art by being easy to copy, open to improvisation, and simple to share.

You'll discover how Fluxus artists used this approach to rebel against traditional art, turning the "book" itself into an ongoing experiment with endless possibilities. It's a chance to experience how "artist books" perfectly capture the spirit of what Fluxus was all about.
