Unknotting Emotions

West Bund Museum has launched a new public program called "Unknotting Emotions." Built around the idea that art can loosen what's knotted inside us, it invites everyone to tie a knot and make a few simple gestures — experiencing the ancient art of knot-making, connecting with the artist's creative process, and letting your feelings and thoughts be seen.

Every thread tied and every knot left behind becomes a small but real connection between people. "Unknotting Emotions" aims to break the one-way relationship of art as something merely watched, encouraging the public to rediscover the link between material and emotion through touching, knotting, and writing.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
